Erasmus+ Exchange

🎓 We are very pleased to welcome Prof. Damian Derlukiewicz from Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Poland, whose visit to the University of Patras was made possible through the Erasmus+ exchange programme. His expertise lies in the fields of conceptual design, design methodologies, detailed mechanical design, FEM analysis, and related applied engineering topics.

During his visit to the University of Patras, Prof. Derlukiewicz delivered a series of insightful presentations about the activities of his university and research group, as well as his personal contributions to a variety of projects such as bucket-wheel excavators, flat-bottomed boats, remote demolition robots, and more.

🤝 His presence marks the beginning of a valuable connection between our institutions. This collaboration is especially important for students, as it can open new pathways between Greece and Poland, including potential opportunities for:
🔹 student thesis collaborations
🔹 PhD positions
🔹 Erasmus+ internships
🔹 research exchanges
🔹 future employment opportunities
🔹 joint academic and industrial projects

At the same time, this visit creates an initial step towards future cooperation between our research teams, bringing the two universities closer together through shared scientific interests and applied engineering activities.
