SAFeCRAFT

Project Title:

Safe and Efficient Use of Sustainable Fuels
in Maritime Transport
Application

Project Goal:

SAFeCRAFT’s overall goal is to develop and demonstrate the safety and viability and accelerate the adoption of Sustainable Alternative Fuels (SAFs) in waterborne energy transport.

Our Contribution:

Develop an open digital platform to evaluate sustainable climate-neutral fuels for waterborne transport. Integrate smart decision-making tools and virtual environments to support efficient design. Test monitoring systems under various conditions to find and fix weaknesses. Use machine learning for real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance of fuel systems to improve performance and support sustainable shipping.
