Project Title:
Safe and efficient storage of ammonia within ships
Project Goal:
The NH3CRAFT will develop a next-generation sustainable, commercially attractive, and safe technology for high-volume storage and transportation of ammonia as fuel onboard ships.
Our Contribution:
Develop concepts for modularity and scalability of the auxiliary systems of the ammonia-fueled ship. Perform a comprehensive system analysis of the technology demonstrator and its main framework, followed by virtual demonstrations to validate design choices. Conduct virtual parameter studies to optimize the design and system performance. Engage stakeholders throughout the process to incorporate feedback and align objectives, enhancing overall project outcomes.
University of Patras supports within current contribution the activities of NH3CRAFT with close cooperation with Dresden University of Technology (TUD).
