LH2CRAFT

Project Title:

Safe and Efficient Marine Transportation of Liquid Hydrogen

Project Goal:

The overall goal of LH2CRAFT is to develop a next-generation sustainable, commercially attractive, and safe technology for long-term storage and long-distance transportation of LH2 on ships.

Our Contribution:

Investigate innovative materials and technologies from other industries that could be adapted for use in the maritime sector. Develop and test a small-scale model to assess the insulation performance of these materials. Suggest design and manufacturing enhancements to make repairs and recycling easier. Share the insights gained through events and collaborations with peers and experts.
